This is true to an extent. There is A LOT of misinformation in this rant though. Newspapers don't have to go out of business but they are making stupid business decisions is are being made by people who have never worked in the industry in the first place.
I am not going to explain the answer to solve the industry's problem but the solution is rather simple and it has nothing to do with mantra "increasing revenue."
